Technique known as "Turkish Building" is an advanced method of placing buildings in very tight clusters, invented by Mayor of Smyrna.

The goal of this technique is to lessen the amount of roads that the game will generate, which will leave more space for businesses and housing.

Turkish Building requires a lot of patience and practice to master. It is used mostly in contest games where the objective is to reach an unusually high amounts of population or buildings, though it can be often applied in a less perfect fashion in regular games.
